How low will the Warminster Democrats go? Well, apparently attacking the spouse of a US Navy Veteran who decides to do something nice to honor and remember those who died on 9/11, as well as the 13 Servicemembers who died last month in Afghanistan. This was done in an apparent attempt to deflect from their hypocrisy of taking away the choice to be masked from the parents and citizens of this township and then hold their own potential super-spreader event. This was called out by many residents of Warminster, as well as the Warminster Republican Committee in a Facebook post.
So, here’s what happened. Earlier this week, the Warminster Democratic Organization held an event at a local restaurant. In attendance were several elected officials from the County, the Township, and the Centennial School District, as well as candidates for offices in the upcoming election. You must remember that many of these people are the same ones who decided that parents should have no choice when it comes to masking their children in school. At this event, nearly everyone in attendance decided to not wear a mask. They were called out for their hypocrisy after posting several pictures on Facebook.
GOP FB Post Calling Out Dem Hypocrisy
How did they respond? Well, they took a shot at the Warminster Republicans as well as Janice Charlton, a wonderful and good-hearted citizen of Warminster.
Janice, who in addition to being the spouse of a Navy Veteran, is also a long-time resident of Warminster and a mother of CSD children, past and present. She is very active in the community and genuinely cares about the people in Warminster. Janice happens to be running for Township Supervisor. Totally independent of her campaign, she decided to organize an event to remember and honor, through prayer, the lives that were lost on 9/11 as well as the 13 members of the US Military who died last month in Afghanistan. So, she rented out the local VFW hall, invited a couple of speakers, and provide a modest meal. It was not a Republican Club or Committee event, nor was it a fundraiser of any kind. The cost of the event was $12/person, which covered Janice’s costs for organizing the evening. Yet the Warminster Democratic Organization claimed it was a Republican Fundraiser that was exploiting 9/11 on the 20th Anniversary of that horrible event. This is a shameful lie, which we’re sure they knew before they made the following post on Facebook. The image below was posted to Facebook and is an obvious attempt to deflect from being called out for their hypocrisy.
It appears the Warminster Democrats have a problem with truth. All that we ask is that you remember that fact on November 2, 2021.
